Discussion:
Calibrating throttle of Logitech Extreme 3D Pro

Another question about the Logitech Extreme 3D Pro. I can't seem to
calibrate the throttle control. All the way "back" doesn't cut the engine to
idle (Beech Barron) and advancing it all the way doesn't give full throttle.

Any suggestions?

Well Dave I hope that if anyone comes back with any suggestions that, just
for a change, you'll acknowledge their attempt to assist and thank them. It
makes for a friendlier NG. ;-)

Hi Dave,
It might be that you have the Throttle Sensitivity turned down to far or
your throttle, or the Null Zone turned up to far in your control settings.
When you are in the cockpit, bring up the menu at the top of the screen and
click Options - Settings - Controls. Around the middle of the screen there
should be a box with the sensitivity settings for the Ailerons, Elevator,
and throttle. Above this box where it says "Controller Type" be sure that
you have selected your joystick controller. Directly below this are two
buttons labeled "Simple Controls" and "Advanced Controls". Click the button
labeled "Advanced Controls". Slide the Throttle axis Sensitivity control all
the way to the right (this makes the throttle controller very sensitive),
and move the "Null Zone" slider all of the way to the left (this makes the
throttle control react through its entire range of motion). Then click OK.
This should give you the full movement of your throttle in the program. I
hope this was helpful...

If you don't like what you see, then turn off the landing light."

Check the sensitivity and Null on them in FS. FS has a habit of setting
them and you don't want them on a throttle axis.

Thanks everyone. I won't be in front of FS for a few days but I'll let you
know.
