I've been so proud for so long that our household can get by with only a 1Mb/sec internet speed. Now they have published a list of recommended download speeds for FS scenery that starts at 10X what we have. I guess I won't be an early adopter. Oh well, more time for reloading and going to the range.

The scenery based on Bing Maps loads during flight via internet DL. There is a plain vanilla world for when the internet's out but I haven't seen any pictures posted from that. At least, that's what I read.

I wait. I watch. I use previous versions and all the planes that wouldn't work for the latest update. S'OK.
