Well I wondered about this briefly and came up with the following thoughts.
If you are looking for a lightweight twin I have recently bought the Cessna
310 from:
http://www.dreamfleet2000.com/Previews/C310/7CM_Info.htm
It only has a range of 1500 or so miles but not bad for this sort of
machine.
The next thought was the stock Learjet 45, although from a quick search on
the web they seem to top out at around 2100nm, although I'm sure others in
the group will point to longer range versions.
The search then took me to my initial thought, the Boeing 737NG as stated
here:
http://www.boeing.com/commercial/737family/pf/pf_ng_back.html
I don't know where your planning to fly, or if it would accommodate the 737,
but it's a great way to fly there in style. If you go in something like the
PMDG 737 which is my personal favourite you can do some serious flying with
all of the accurately modelled systems. I know it is outside of your
original spec, but they are now selling these things as large private jets.
I saw a lawyer with one on Discovery Wings the other night.
One final thought, just pause and fill the fuel mid flight as this will also
work.
Regards
Geoff
Post by P CorbeilHi,
I am looking for a small twin engine plane with long range capability around
3,000 nm or more for FS2002pro,
it can be a piston, turbo-prop or small private jet, free if possible but i
can pay for it, if i have to.
Happy Hollidays!
